Senior Adult Ministry

Seniors are the first folks you’ll meet when you visit our church. They’ll shake your hand, give you a hearty welcome, and help you with whatever you need. They’ll know how to help you – they’ve been our official greeters for years! Seniors are an integral part of the life of our church, and their service is woven throughout the ministries of our church. They’re involved in just about every aspect of our church life, and we couldn’t do ministry without them. You’ll see our seniors making prayer quilts, listening to children say verses in the Awana program, working in the kitchen on Wednesday nights, visiting shut- ins, preparing and delivering meals, and even planting flowers. Seniors serve one another through the ministry of the Sunday school classes.

In addition to our many church-wide activities where our entire congregation fellowships together, seniors plan a variety of “young-at-heart” activities throughout the year.
