AWANA Club Rules
-
We need participation by ALL clubbers. Plan to take part in the entire program unless you bring a note from your parents.
-
Come to attention whenever a leader begins a 5 count. Please do not repeat the count along with the leader.
-
There should be NO rough play at anytime, especially in the parking lot.
-
No one is allowed on the game square once the flag ceremony has started. Once the ceremony is completed, you may take your place on your team line.
-
Everyone is expected to show respect to leaders, parents, and other clubbers. Foul language WILL NOT be tolerated and is grounds to be taken home.
-
You must remain on church property during club hours.
-
Continuous disruption of a club meeting by any clubber may result in the clubber being removed from club activities for the evening. If the clubber’s parents are on church property, the clubber will be taken to his/her parents, and the problem will be discussed at that time or at the end of the evening. If a parent cannot be reached, the clubber will remain with the Club Commander for the remainder of the evening. If the clubber continues to be uncooperative after the above disciplinary steps have been taken, the clubber may lose the privilege of attending his/her club for the following week. The decision to take this disciplinary action is made at the discretion of the Club Commander. After the one-week absence, the clubber will be welcomed back to the AWANA Club. (For a complete explanation of the discipline policy, please consult the AWANA Parent Guide.)
